Ashley joined Urban Economics in February 2005 as a Research Analyst after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Economics degree in 2004.  Ashley was promoted to Senior Research Analyst in July 2006 and is currently undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Urban and Environmental Planning at Griffith University.

Ashley has gained considerable experience in the preparation of Economic Need and Impact Assessments for various property developments across Queensland and northern New South Wales.  Ashley has also gained experience in the preparation of strategic input and planning need advice for various local authorities and is familiar with processes and requirements within the planning system.  In particular, Ashley has gained extensive knowledge and experience in undertaking a wide range of research and data collection tasks for various economic research projects within the retail, residential, commercial office, industrial and tourism property sectors.
