Kerrianne Meulman

Combining more than 30 years’ economic consulting and market research experience with a passion for understanding how and why we live, work, play and educate within our urban environments, Kerrianne enjoys adding value to clients’ property related decisions and brings to your project experience in all facets of the way we use our urban environments from child care to aged care. Intrinsic to Kerrianne’s core consulting motivation, is the opportunity to engage with clients in understanding their businesses, to collaborate with Urban Economics’s enthusiastic team of professionals in distilling the essence of a research problem, and to deliver research and advice that is informed, insightful and savvy.

Joshua Binkley

Associate Director


Since commencing with Urban Economics in 2010 as a Research Assistant while completing his studies at Griffith University, Josh has been involved in all aspects of Urban Economic's work. Driven by the opportunity to undertake a broad range of projects across Urban Economics's spectrum of services providing exposure to a variety of projects from “Melbourne to Moranbah”, child care to aged care, and rural to retail; Josh is now an Associate Director at Urban Economics. Josh has a particular interest in data accessibility and skills in data analysis, applying these skills to interrogate this information as it applies to the urban environment and adding value to Urban Economics’ clients and projects across various industry sectors.
I enjoy applying my skills to a broad range of projects; from Melbourne to Moranbah, Brisbane to Bunbury, childcare to aged care, rural to retail, and everything in between

Nick Hiller

Consultant


Commencing with Urban Economics in 2020 as a Research Assistant, Nick has a dual degree of Economics/Arts (Geography) from the University of Queensland. Over the past 4 years, Nick has enjoyed building up his research, writing and mapping skills under the guidance of Kerrianne and Josh and now has experience preparing reports for a range of clients in the retail, residential, social infrastructure, and local government industries among others. In particular, he enjoys the ability to display complex data in map form, allowing clients to visualise trends and insights in a simple and intuitive way.
It has been so exciting to apply my skillset into a range of projects enhancing property and community development.

Kalychia Rumints

Research Analyst


A motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for data interpretation and analysis. Equipped with data collection, economic modelling, and statistical data analysis skills to deliver high-quality research and reports. Known for a proactive nature, going above and beyond to assist others, meeting deadlines and producing thorough work. A keen-learner, offering sound judgment to analyse situations, provide innovative insights and support decision-making processes.

Charles Knox


Completing his Bachelor of International Business in 2023, Charles is an expert in analysing data, economic conditions, and risk factors for the application of economic modelling and projections across a diverse range of industries and backgrounds. Complimenting his studies with an internship at a South Korean tech Startup, Charles has the capability to collaborate with stakeholders and develop business strategies whilst navigating international barriers to business and make informed recommendations on investment decisions.

Joshua Bonwick

Office Manager


Initially starting as an Administrative Assisstant in 2017, Joshua is now the current Office Manager for Urban Economics commencing the role in mid 2023. With responsibilities largely consisting of performing all of the administative and managerial duties. Currently an engineering student he also applies his research and analysis education to assist in critical data collection.
